Nuclear Attack Or Avian Flu?

Given the political problems that George W. Bush is facing, on SEVERAL fronts, it makes perfect sense to me that something "BIG" is coming. If that is to happen, GOD FORBID (if there is a God), then what do you think it will be?

I don't know about bird flu but i think a biological weapon will be the society killer, "god" forbid.

The "Nuclear Possibilities" is a list I really don't feel like going through. There's so many on this site... in fact, it makes the argument for an Iranian strike moreso than an American strike...

Yeah, if the U.S. is gonna invade Iran it's gotta use some pretty heavy weapons to take out those underground facilities.

You know something I don't?

Ya, the Bird Flu is just some shit made up to scare people so that the govn't would have an excuse to give millions (or billions) to big corporations. I mean the Bird Flu is always mutating means vaccines created now would be useless by the time the Bird Flu hits the U.S. (which it won't!!!!)

Also, there wouldnt be a state sponsored terror attack using a nuclear bomb, too devestating, they wouldnt do it.

How do you know what they would or wouldn't do?

1. Read my user name.

2. A nuclear attack would cripple the economy. That would surely put a stop to there plans of global domination.

I'm going with Avian Flu. I talked to my boy GWB last night on the phone and he didn't mention anything about a Nuclear Attack.

Would it? I read yesterday that the attacks of 9/11 were a "hiccup" as far as the economy goes.

You dare question Chuck Norris???

And besides, it depends on what you mean by "nuclear". If you mean the Big One, then this country would be over. If you mean a 'dirty bomb', then they would say the radioactive material came from Iran and have there pretext for war.

Oh, problably won't happen. But when I find out I'll be sure to tell you guys right away.

Holla!

i think any nuclear attack would cripple the economies of the world. what happens in one country will affect the others of the world. if they don't turn a blind eye to it.

I haven't responded to the poll yet. I don't know if you mean which of the two options would be more probable to cripple the U.S. or which would devastate on a global scale.

I would think more lives are in danger due to the buildup of nuclear weapons in other countries. Take a look at India and Pakistan. They've been at each other throats since the 1940's.... Dubya just gave India the green light to build up. Pakistan's rumoured to have between 40-50 nuclear bombs. The countries are right next door to each other. Something's gotta give. Cooler heads have not prevailed in the past. Obviously both countries will use their most powerful weaponry to defeat the enemy. It's come to that point in history and progress where nuclear weapons are the #1 option.

Or maybe Israel and Iran will duke it out. Regardless, the end result will be tens of millions of dead people in a very short span. Not to mention the nuclear fallout affecting other innocent people and places.

What will happen to grant carte blanche on the world?

I'll stick with nuclear war, beginning in the Middle East and spreading outward.
