Jon, Wilshire was involved in the Moussaoui case. Here is his substitution for testimony at the Moussaoui trial:

Check the last e-mail that begins "Dave, please advise..." See what Wilshire calls the FBI's Minneapolis field office. We know that Wilshire conspired to protect two of the hijackers from the FBI, and here he is in the middle of the foul-up that is that Moussaoui case.

What does the defence and Moussaoui and Judge Brinkema think of the fact that one of the officials at the FBI involved in the case previously shielded two hijackers from the FBI? Did they know this during the trial? (doubt it). If it had been known during the trial, what impact would it have had? (he would have got off, wouldn't he?)

I remember when the destruction of CIA tapes scandal kicked off that Brinkema used some pretty strong language. I wonder what she (and say, Coleen Rowley, for example) think of Wilshire?
