Referring to the attacks and the present political situation, Bush tells the meeting, “This is a great opportunity. We have to think of this as an opportunity.” According to journalist Bob Woodward, he means this is a chance to improve relations, especially with major powers such as Russia and China. i think that their close proximity to afghanistan and the three years in a row record poppy producing years in afghanastan and the fact that u make heroin from poppys and that dirty needles can cause aids have nothing to do with any thing either....anybody seen any aids reports on china or russia lately? just curious

I think he means "improve relations with two authoritarian governments."
