Imagine suddenly losing the internet, and only having the television as your source for information.
 
as i don't watch the news on tv very often i would be pretty stupid. of corse i probably wouldn't do a lot of things i do now. i'd not travel b/c there wouldn't be any expedia. man life would be horrible..... i'd be a vegtable like terry shiavo.
 
T.V. is an emotional media, were glib opinion and emotion overule fact and debate. At least the net offers resourses for cross checking of facts.
Unplugg the cable cord! Although I would never kill my t.v. I like movies too much.:)

i agree. plus they just want to scare people half to death.
 
Just imagine being cut off from the world. From all your friends, all your info, etc... gone. Then what would you do. I'd have to watch C-SPAN 24/7.

i'd have to start being nice to my co-workers for a change.
 
you also wouldn't have a job. don't you do website stats or something?
