Here's something funny about magic mushrooms, to make up for things:

[/size] For those who live in England, you may be unhappy to hear that as of 18th July 2005 (this Monday) the sale, consumption, possession and opinion of a Magic Mushroom will be punishable by death (and/or a large fine).
Whereas before it was legal to sell, buy, use and possess ‘fresh’ Magic Mushrooms, as of Monday the punishment for all these awful, awful crimes will be the same as any Class A drug, such as crack or heroin.
Although many people use Magic Mushrooms maturely and responsibly, Labour have stated that they, ‘Don’t care’ and that they ‘just want to ruin everyone’s fun and be unreasonable.’
When confronted with the idea that there are many people who practice shamanic rituals in their religion and use psychedelics for sacred reasons, Tony Blair was quoted as saying, ‘ I couldn’t give two shits.’ He went on to say, about shamanism, ‘Only freaks and paedophiles aren’t Christians like me and my happy family. These different and intimidating people probably worship Satan and cohere to similar dated stereotypes.’
George ‘the Great Belonker’ Bush gave Britain his full support and promised to launch an investigation into whether a shaman may have been involved in 9/11. When asked if he could count to 9 or 11, he responded by repeatedly banging his head against the wall shouting, ‘Malfunction, malfunction. I just wanted to know…love’ before combusting into a cloud of white smoke.
So I strongly suggest anyone who values liberty, freedom and other irrelevant concepts to go and take as many mushrooms as possible before the ban. Alternately, one could embark on some sort of rebellious hike, or haircut.
P.S. If you are incredibly naive and humour the notion that you can make any kind of a difference (or you just want a t-shirt) go to http://www.entheogendefencefund.org.uk and sign a petition no-one in the real world cares about.
