"Now let's talk some Angelina Jolie," said Fox News on Thursday, complaining that Jolie does not like Fox and had tried to keep them out of the premiere of her new movie. Fox also reported that Jolie wanted reporters to agree not to ask her any personal questions in interviews about the movie.
"We all followed this story," objected the Fox hosts. "This is Danny Pearl's story, and she plays Mrs. ... Danny Pearl's wife, and the movie is called A Mighty Heart. This is an important story, especially to our viewiers. ... And Danny Pearl's fighting for freedom of speech, and that's who they represent, and now what's she doing?"
Daniel Pearl was the reporter kidnappened and murdered in Pakistan in 2002 while investigating ties between al Qaeda and Pakistan's intelligence services. The causes of his death have remained controversial, with multiple contradictory confessions and allegations of CIA and MI6 involvement.
