Former FEMA Employee Charged With Stealing $1 Million In 9/11 Aid

The New York Sun is reporting that a former FEMA employee has been charged with stealing almost $1 million in relief aid following the September 11th, 2001, terrorist attacks.

Steven Yee, 37, allegedly used his position at a FEMA center in Lower Manhattan to approve fake applications for government aid.

The indictment of Yee and seven other defendants was announced Thursday.
