The second tape is interesting. The "rivals" of Chavez. They're all saying the same thing. We don't want Hugo Chavez taking orders from Fidel Castro. It reminds me of how all of Bush Supporters say the same thing. I wonder if there are people in Venezuela manipulated against Chavez like there are people manipulated here to support Bush. I could see the CIA putting out news in Venezuela against Chavez.

I think there's only one 'pro' Chavez TV station in Venezulea, and that's State TV. All the rest are owned by private corps., and naturally utterly hostile to Chavez.

As for the newspapers, I'd say mostly opposed as well (being private corporations).

But Chavez still has something like a 77% approval rating, and a 70% support of his government.
