KABUL, Afghanistan (CNN) -- Osama bin Laden is "probably" dead, but former Taliban leader Mullah Omar is alive, Afghan President Hamid Karzai has said. "I would come to believe that [bin Laden] probably is dead," Karzai said on CNN's "Late Edition" on Sunday. "But still, you never know. He might be alive. Five months ago, six months ago, I was thinking that he was alive. "The more we don't hear of him, and the more time passes, there is the likelihood that he probably is either dead or seriously wounded somewhere."

Israeli intelligence: Bin Laden is dead, heir has been chosen TEL AVIV -- Osama Bin Laden appears to be dead but his colleagues have decided that Al Qaida and its insurgency campaign against the United States will continue, Israeli intelligence sources said. The Israeli sources said Israel and the United States assess that Bin Laden probably died in the U.S. military campaign in Afghanistan in December. They said the emergence of new messages by Bin Laden are probably fabrications, Middle East Newsline reported.

News of Bin Laden's Death and Funeral 10 days ago

Islamabad - A prominent official in the Afghan Taleban movement announced yesterday the death of Osama bin Laden, the chief of al-Qa'da organization, stating that binLaden suffered serious complications in the lungs and died a natural and quiet death. The official, who asked to remain anonymous, stated to The Observer of Pakistan that he had himself attended the funeral of bin Laden and saw his face prior to burial in Tora Bora 10 days ago. He mentioned that 30 of al-Qa'da fighters attended the burial as well as members of his family and some friends from the Taleban. In the farewell ceremony to his final rest guns were fired in the air. The official stated that it is difficult to pinpoint the burial location of bin Laden because according to the Wahhabi tradition no mark is left by the grave. He stressed that it is unlikely that the American forces would ever uncover any traces of bin Laden.

    Al-Zarqawi probably died in February/March 2004

    Al-Zarqawi

    March 4, 2004

    «Iraq militants claim al-Zarqawi is dead»

«Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was killed in the Sulaimaniyah mountains of northern Iraq, during the American bombing there, according to a statement circulated in Fallujah this week and signed by the Leadership of the Allahu Akbar Mujahedeen. There was no way to verify the authenticity of the statement, one of many leaflets put out by a variety of groups taking part in the anti-U.S. resistance.»

«It said al-Zarqawi was unable to escape the bombing because of his artificial leg.»

    November 18, 2005

    AMMAN, Jordan (CNN)

«One man, his face contorted with rage, yelled out that the Israelis and Americans were behind the attacks on the hotels, that al-Zarqawi was a religious man. He recounted how al-Zarqawi had once rescued a dog from some young men in the neighborhood who were abusing the animal. His implication was that such a man could not have committed terrorist acts.»

I think this is a new fake video. I think it is not Al-Zawahiri, although this is a better copy than some of the others.

This video is very actual right now.

One reason I dont believe in the video is that the person refers to an "offer" from Osama bin Laden who is dead.

    Yahoo article
"The lion of Islam, Sheik Osama bin Laden, may God protect him, offered you a decent exit from your dilemma.
Also this comment (from the same article) is suspicious:
A U.S. counterterrorism official, who spoke on condition of anonymity in compliance with office policy, said there is no reason to doubt the authenticity of the al-Zawahri video, which U.S. intelligence officials were analyzing.
The counterterrorism official noted the video was disseminated quickly, demonstrating al-Zawahri's ability to get his message out even faster than bin Laden. That suggests the two are not hiding together and bin Laden may be in a more remote location than his deputy, the official said.

Link to two other aticles about the new video:

The real Al-Zawahiri, I think looks like this:

How can the new Zawahiri video be fake? It's the same guy but with more white hairs.

And as far as bin Laden goes he seems to die every other month of something.

Regarding Abu Mussab al-Zarqawi, his old buddy from prison has freqently stated that Zarqawi was illiterate and that he doesn't appear to be the same size in the beheading videos. (bigger or smaller, can't remember) Regardless I'm still not sure if he's really dead or not, or if he's not really running the show. If he's dead, then the Islamic groups in Iraq all either have some type of links to the CIA or have all been duped into thinking there working with 'Zarqawi'.
