Also, I love the juxtaposition of 'communists' and 'muslim terrorists'. Quite aside from the fact that Chavez is not a Communist (he's a left-Populist, moving - it seems - towards democratic socialism) - if anyone fucking hates each other in this world its Communists and Fundie Islamists. Wasn't that what Afghanistan was all about in the 1980s - those evil godless commies (and their program of freedom from religious rule, rights for women, better access to healthcare and education) against those 'freedom fighting' Mujheddin (with their program of, um, oh yeah, oppression of women, theocratic rule, tribal warlordism and drug trafficking).

By the way, did you also know that Chavez is the secret puppetmaster behind Kofi Annan, that he eats small children for supper, is Castro's gay lover and in fact, is the anti-Christ and is most certainly a thoroughly worse chap than Hitler?

Chavez is just a distraction for the faithfull(gotta have an enemy). The American dominionist/neo-fascist/judeo-christian-zionist movement can crush or coopt all opposition if they don't stick together.

As we saw in Nazi Germany, the fascists single groups out, and then one by one they tear them down or coopt them. Divide and conquer. The social democrats tried to warn. They didn't realize they would need their political opposition if they were to defeat the nazis/fascists.
