Why Does The Government Want To Conceal The Wargames?

Why is it important for our Government to conceal the fact that "9/11 Like" Wargames were going on at the time of 9/11?

I've thought about this A LOT, and I think it could be one of three things:

1) The Wargames were an intricate part in the success of 9/11.
2) The Wargames showed that there actually were people in Government who could have "imagined" something like 9/11 taking place (proving that Condoleeza Rice committed perjury).
3) The Wargames weren't important enough to mention in the 9/11 Report, hence the reason it only merited a "footnote".

Now, the third one is not the case, and I'll tell you why. General Eberhardt said that the Excercises that were taking place, enhanced our ability to respond. Obviously that is not the case because all four planes were successful. Also, the question from the Commission in and of itself, shows that the Wargames were important enough to mention.

So... which is it? Number one, or number two?
 
i think the wargames are about as rare as WTC7.. they are definately 2 points that most ppl are unaware of.. and good points to show people.. sparks some curiosity.. wargames were what got me started.

There might be a fourth reason. Because I already proved that General Eberhardt's statement is false, maybe they're trying to save face for the military. Maybe it WAS the fact that the military was having Wargames that confused response time, and they don't want to "place blame". They proved that by not holding anyone accountable in the final report....
 
However, as a citizen, I would be more accepting of the fact that they "fucked up", than I am of the fact that they "fucked up", and won't admit it.

How were all four planes successful? One crashed in a field in PA, and I'm pretty sure the terrorists weren't aiming for it.

It was successfully hijacked by some of the "terrorists" who were used as patsies, and then shot down by the Government. Of course, that's speculation, so I don't know for sure.

i would not doubt that they did a traffic stop going both ways by the pentagon before the explosion... you know how cops slow traffic on the freeway to a stop to remove something from the road???? that could have been done real easy... just thinking outloud... lol.. like allways...
