after downloading it and looking at it frame by frame i think it is his thumb, with his fingers wrapped around.. in any event, this might turn into the pod, a distraction.. i guess tonight ill have to writeup a debunking article

No... if you look at it quickly, it looks like his middle finger, but if you look at it frame for frame... it's definitely his thumb.

I can't believe I'm defending him... this is the hand on the way down... the finger moved to the left on the way down, indicating it's a thumb. Also, notice the "curve"?
