VIENNA, Austria: The U.N. nuclear agency has shared more intelligence with 35 nations on Iran's alleged attempts to make nuclear arms, leading to renewed verbal clashes between the U.S. and Tehran.

Gregory L. Schulte, chief representative to the IAEA, says the presentation showed plans to redesign Iran's Shahab-3 missile to accommodate a nuclear payload. But Ali Ashgar Soltanieh, his Iranian counterpart, is dismissing the information as fabricated.

The two spoke separately to reporters Tuesday after the presentation by the IAEA, one day after the U.N. nuclear watchdog issued a report saying that Iran has stonewalled its attempts to probe allegations that it drew up plans and conducted experiments for a nuclear arms program.
