On 9/11/2001, according to then Secretary of Transportation Norman Mineta, a conversation took place between a "young man", and Dick Cheney in the PEOC (Presidential Emergency Operations Center). This conversation, according to Mineta, consisted of a "young man" telling Cheney a plane they are tracking is 50, 30, and at 10 miles out, and at 10 miles out, the "young man" asked Dick Cheney "do the orders still stand?", and Cheney replied, "Of course the orders still stand! Have you heard anything to the contrary?" Sec. Mineta says that at the time this conversation was taking place, he had no idea what the order they were talking about was. He didn't find out until later that it was a "shoot down" order. There is little doubt that this conversation took place. Different variations of it have been reported by different news outlets, and the time frame this conversation took place is in dispute (see Dr. Griffin's latest book, "9/11 Contradictions"), however, the discussion of an "order" is not.
