Bush's Warning To Iran Has Scared Me

Today, Bush warned Iran, "the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism," that their "active pursuit of technology that could lead to nuclear weapons threatens to put a region already known for instability and violence under the shadow of a nuclear holocaust," and "Iran's actions threaten the security of nations everywhere, and the United States is rallying friends and allies to isolate Iran's regime, to impose economic sanctions. We will confront this danger before it is too late."

I was reminded of the days before the Iraq War, and obviously there has been a massive push recently by the Administration, especially by Cheney, to go to war with Iran.

According to Rawstory, "the US has prepared its military for a "massive" attack against Iran, requiring little contingency planning and without a ground invasion."

As far as I know, the people of America DO NOT support yet ANOTHER illegal war. However, if there is another 9/11 type event blamed on Iran (as Zbigniew specified), that's it. We're going to war.

I just want the Bush Administration to know that if we are attacked, I am not going to look at Iran, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Iraq, Afghanistan, or even Pakistan as culprits. I'm going to look right at you. I'm sure I won't be the only one.

I'll go so far as to say: If you motherfuckers do it again, ya better make damn sure you secure the perimeter. I WILL get in there WITH a camera, and I will get out with all sorts of samples so good people can run tests IMMEDIATELY. You will not do this to us again. It sux to say I hope another world power DOES attack us. Not terrorists, just another big kid on the block to shut us down. Let them shut down government. We will then kick THEIR asses and start over.

No, I mean this: If it happens in the continental US I am going there post haste (provided I can fly and it isn't a mushroom cloud.) I will drive if neccassary, but I am going. And if nothing comes of it I swear I am leaving to live in another country.

If they attack Iran, I will organize a massive flag burning protest in Philadelphia. There. I feel better now.

The other idea I had for a protest was for millions of people to march on Washington with 1 quart of motor oil to be dumped at the foot of the white house. If they love it so much, they should drown in it.

thats one quart of motor oil EACH. Wouldn't really be that spectacular to just dump a single quart of oil on the lawn.
