A nameless grassroots movement has announced plans to protest everything, everywhere in a general strike this Sept 11.
Flyers for the movement command Americans to hit the streets and forgo work, school, and shopping to protest the Iraq war, election fraud, civil-rights abuses, corporate media, military profiteering, the "9-11 Cover-up," and pretty much everything else.
The website, which lists no organizers, declares: "The strike is meant to be as broad as possible," and should encompass any issue surrounding truth, justice, and accountability in the U.S. government.
The movement has chosen Sept 11 to strike because, "since the tragic events of 9/11/01, America has fallen under a spell of fear and deception," claims the website.
So, conspiracy theorists, libertarians, mothers, democrats, concerned citizens, socialists, republicans, and paranoid patriots, take to the streets this Sept 11 and make your presence known.
But bring a sign so we know what you are protesting.
