Bush, Israel's Olmert to meet next week

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush will hold White House talks with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on November 13, the White House said on Monday.

It will be Olmert's second visit to Washington since his election in March and his first meeting with Bush since last summer's Israel-Hezbollah war.

The costly conflict against the Lebanese guerrilla group damaged Olmert's approval ratings at home but he has since rebounded and shored up his governing coalition.

The White House said Bush and Olmert would discuss U.S.-Israeli ties and a range of regional and international issues. They are likely to talk about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and U.S.-led international efforts to curb Iran's nuclear program, a key security concern for the Jewish state.
