"The Power of Nightmares" was only just shy of an hour. Not three.

I consider it a must-watch. The part that's stuck with me that I didn't know about before was how the Manhattan trial for the embassy bombings in Africa in 1998 lead to the "creation" of al Qaeda. How the U.S. needed a network in order to bring Osama into the public eye. Set the fear machine in place....

And the exact same cast of characters that perpetuated the Soviet scare throughtout the 70's and 80's are still in place to frighten the American public into thinking dark men with turbans and long beards are Disciples of Satan.
