Opposition leader Binyamin Netanyahu will leave to Washington on Monday for meetings with US Vice President Dick Cheney and senators about the threat from Iran.

Prime Minister Ehud Olmert spoke to Netanyahu for five minutes on the phone on Sunday and briefed him ahead of the trip. Netanyahu said that he would raise the issue of Israel's kidnapped soldiers in all of his meetings in Washington.

It takes Bush too long to express his thoughts, especially since he doesn't have any of his own.

CHENEY'S DARK SHADOW FALLS OVER LEBANON

Imagine my non-surprise when I learned through the Wayne Madsen report ~ that on On June 17 and 18, former Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Likud Knesset member Natan Sharansky met with Vice President Dick Cheney at the American Enterprise Institute conference in Beaver Creek, Colorado.

Obviously Lebanon was on the agenda and just as obviously Cheney gave the green light for Israel's present shameless iniquity of Shock and Awe in Lebanon ~ and in the process, we have created more hatred, more desire for revenge and more terrorists.
And a quick google returns article like this one.

The Crime of Lebanon and Palestine- Are Iran and Syria Next?

On July 26, Aljazeerah reported a story headlined - "Israeli invasion of Lebanon planned by neocons in June (2006)." It was done at a June 17 and 18 meeting at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) conference in Beaver Creek, Colorado at which former Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Likud Knesset member Natan Sharansky met with US Vice President Dick Cheney.
