I think this is extreme. I respect everyone's fredom of expression and don't seek to criminalize those who express ideas I find nonsensical.Originally Posted by Gold9472

I'm not talking about you. I'm talking about DailyKos' obvious cover-up of 9/11 Truth. That, to me, is criminal.Originally Posted by borepstein
Oh, I know it wasn't me you meant. Back to DailyKos: there coverup of the 9/11 truth movement is very deceitful (they don't announce it) and dishonest. I won't invite Kos to my home ever, likely won't shake his hand and won't give a dime to support his efforts. Yet I would not call what he does a crime - he has a right to do all this, including a right to implement censorship on his site.Originally Posted by Gold9472

Dudes gay n-e-ways. I seen him on The Colbert Report, G.A.Y all D.A.Y.
He has purposefully covered up the Government's involvement. Therefore, he is aiding and abetting.Originally Posted by borepstein
He didn't ignore it. He allowed it on his site until either he started to see that what we were saying is true, and it scared him, or he was receiving flack from those politicians he's trying to attract, and thereby, took it down. Either way, he's helping the cover-up continue. Purposefully. If he completely, and always ignored it, then I wouldn't think twice about it.
Well, let's not play loose with definitions. By law, it is only illegal to tamper with evidence and cover things up when questioned by investigators. So as a private citizen he can cover things up to you or me all he wants.Originally Posted by Gold9472
Unfortunately, it is not illegal even for public officials to lie - which is something that I believe ought to be changed.
When I first started drifting in and out of indie news blogs, I initially thought Kos gave fair representation to some of the more pressing issues facing this country.
And based on early posts from JG on there wrt the 9/11 government coverup etc. that they remained open to it all, maybe not taking sides, but remaining open, as well they should.
But as of late, I've begun to realize different. Now, they're not only closed on the issue, they're suppressing the information. I'm not entirely sure what to make of their behavior, but I know they're free to believe what they want. I just don't understand their bold efforts of censorship regarding the issue, they're essentially no different than the mainstream media in that regard.
It's just sad really.
Sad - but to be expected as they set themselves a purely political goal, and a narrow one at that - to get Democrats into power. Well, while playing that game they realized - correctly or incorrectly - that the 9/11 truth is an obstacle. Hence the decision to suppress it.Originally Posted by Cloak & Swagger
