I don't think he ever could (apart from in the immediate aftermath of 911). Not since he was made President.
Hell, at his initial inauguration in Jan 01 his car had to speed up and get the hell out of there cos there were so many pissed off people. I still remember laughing my hole off at it.

Remember this is a president who had to intern without trial or due process 1000's of protestors in NYC in 2004, and now feels it necessary to spy on peace groups and journalists.
That's very bad, but also very good at the same time if you follow my logic.

I assume your quoting the film there? I haven't seen it since it was shown on Irish telly (World Premiere baby!) back in late 2002, so I can't really remember everything.
I'm gonna watch it again tomorrow, supposed to goin out drinkin later on and if I watch it now that'll be all I'll be able to talk about!!!
Ya... things that stand out. So... Chavez took part in a coup in the early 90's to try and take out the oil establishment, and in 2002, the oil establishment took part in his coup, with the probable help of the CIA.
The sniper footage is amazing.

We can learn a tremendous amount from the people of Venezuela.
That was an incredible documentary to say the least.

Our leaders are the same people who ousted Chavez. They are no different.

The sad part is is that I never knew this ever happend (other than of course articles on this site) and most Americans believe Chavez is a wacked out dictor. I'm sure if the average American is asked why Chavez is a dictor, other than "the govnt said so", they wouldnt be able to answer that question.
Compare this to our way of life. Our media. Our Government officials.
We need the military leaders who see this Government for what it is, to take it back.
We currently have an occupied Government that is no different than the one that took out Hugo Chavez.
In fact, it is the Government that took out Hugo Chavez.
It is on a much larger scale.
ALL of Alex Jones' documentaries are also on google video which is great! They've even got the extras from the dvd.
The analogy is amazing to me. Our Government is currently controlled by the same type of people who ousted Hugo Chavez. Our military is controlled by the same type of people who ousted Hugo Chavez.
