After one day, Steve Alten's book has gone to a ranking of #139 (as of 8pm) on Amazon.com. With regards to different genres, for Literature & Fiction/War, he's #1, for Literature & Fiction/United States, he's #6, and for Literature & Fiction/World Literature, he's #8.

I always ask myself, if there's nothing to what the 9/11 Truth Movement is saying, why waste so much time focusing on it?
Yes, there have been several "critiques" regarding the "Week Of Truth", and as a result, text has been changed on the "Week Of Truth" web site (many thanks to Michael Wolsey and Scott Ford for all of the hard work they put into that site in so little time). I have even apologized for any misunderstandings on behalf of myself. This was not an attempt at some devious plan to destroy the 9/11 Truth Movement. I hope that people can put aside their differences for this effort. If not, I have to be content with the fact that I, and several others are doing their best.
I want to be very clear on something. The "Shell Game" is NOT the book I would want everyone to read as their introduction to 9/11 Truth. And no disrespect meant to Steve Alten, but he is NOT the person I would want plastered on the television if I had a choice. We are the 9/11 Truth Movement, and I am being truthful. Personally, I would much rather promote "The Terror Timeline", or "The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions & Distortions", or Dr. Griffin's latest, "9/11 Contradictions" (which I'm finding to be VERY good). As spokespeople, I would much rather have Lorie Van Auken, Mindy Kleinberg, Patty Casazza, Donna Marsh O'Connor, Michele Little, Monica Gabrielle, Sally Regenhard, Bob McIlvaine, Bill Doyle, Christina Kminek, Barry Zelman, Paul Thompson, Ray McGovern, Peter Dale Scott, Janice Matthews, Kyle Hence, Cynthia McKinney, and so on.
However, I believe that the "Shell Game" was written with good intentions. I do believe that Steve Alten DOES care about this issue. I do believe that he is a good person, and that he took a risk with writing this book. With his life, and his career. As ALL of us have. He is a previous best selling author, so chances are, he may have a good chance of becoming one again. If that happens, he may very well get on the TV as we had hoped.
My advice to Steve if he does manage to get plastered on the TV is as follows:
- Try not to state theory as fact. The facts speak for themselves (and make sure you are really comfortable with the facts you choose to promote).
- Make sure you mention that on 9/11/2006, 9/11 Family Members Donna Marsh O'Connor, Christina Kminek, and Michele Little called for a new investigation at the National Press Club in Washington D.C., and on 2/4/2008, the September 11th Advocates (which includes some of the "Jersey Girls". The 9/11 Commission would not have existed if not for them), also called for a new investigation.
- Make sure to mention that 70% of the families questions WERE NOT ANSWERED by the 9/11 Commission which was MANDATED to give a "full and complete accounting" of the 9/11 attacks (and of all people, don't the families deserve to know how and why their loved ones were murdered?).
- Make sure to mention the latest revelations concerning Philip Zelikow, and how they relate to the sham that was the 9/11 Commission.
- Continue to do as you have. Your VERY best.
Now ask yourselves (and yes, I know this is cheap on my part), do you REALLY want the "debunkers" to be able to say, "Week Of Twoof A Failure?" I sure as shit don't.
As I said earlier, we seem to be doing REALLY WELL on Amazon so far, but from what I understand, we have to do even better. I intend to buy my two books tomorrow (payday), and I also plan on asking the friends and family I think would be willing to do so as well.
If we do succeed, the FealGood Foundation gets $5000, and an additional $5000 for every week Steve is #1. That still seems like a pretty good incentive to me. Also, if you purchase your books through the "Week Of Truth" website, it also helps the FealGood Foundation.
