H.R. 2829: Titled "The Clean Sports Act of 2005"

Well, that sounds harmless enough, right? No more Barry Bonds's shooting bovine growth steroids anymore.....

Let's look into this a little bit more.....

It's official title: To reauthorize the Office of National Drug Control Policy Act

Wait a tic. What in the hell does clean sports have to do with total national drug control?

Oh, it gets better.

(Following info from CannabisCulture.com)

SEC. 6. AMENDMENTS RELATING TO APPOINTMENT AND DUTIES OF DIRECTOR AND DEPUTY DIRECTOR. ...

(n) REQUIREMENT FOR SCIENTIFIC STUDY OF MYCOHERBICIDE IN ILLICIT DRUG CROP ERADICATION.-Not later than 90 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy shall submit to the Congress a report that includes a plan to conduct, on an expedited basis, a scientific study of the use of mycoherbicide as a means of illicit drug crop elimination by an appropriate Government scientific research entity, including a complete and thorough scientific peer review. The study shall include an evaluation of the likely human health and environmental impacts of such use. The report shall also include a plan to conduct controlled scientific testing in a major drug producing nation of mycoherbicide naturally existing in the producing nation.

Biological Weapons Testing? Isn't that illegal?

From The Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention Site, the First Review Conference held in Geneva, circa March 1980:

"The States Parties to the Convention reaffirm their strong common interest in the exclusion of the possibility of bacterological (biological) agents and toxins being used as weapons."

This pretty much sums up the VERY FIRST THING all parties agreed on, including the U.S. of A.

When "Agent Green" hits Central America and Afghanistan, what neat health defects will pop up? The same ones that millions of South Vietnamese faced after the Vietnam War?

From motherjones.com

Exceprt from an article titled: "Drug Control or Biowarfare?", by Sharon Stevenson and Jeremy Bigwood

"The trouble is that abundant evidence indicates that the only mycoherbicide being considered for this purpose, Fusarium oxysporum, may in fact, in massive application, pose serious dangers to the environment and human health. Florida has put an indefinite hold on its plans to test the fungus for its own antidrug efforts after environmentalists and a state official warned that it could mutate, spread rapidly (http://www.purefood.org/ge/potsprayed.cfm), and kill off other plants including food crops. And for over a decade, coca growers in Peru have accused the US of secretly applying the fungus there to attack coca plants -- in the process also harming food crops and farm animals. Moreover, the fungus can, under certain circumstances, cause lethal infections in humans with weakened immune systems. None of this, however, has dimmed US government enthusiasm for the project -- nor that of Sands' corporation, which stands to profit if the fungus is adopted for widespread use."

I thought it just dealt strictly with LSD experiments on Timothy Leary and willing participants. After skimming over it on Wikipedia, I see that wasn't exactly the case.... Mind-control experiments on people without consent? Holy shit.....

Yeah... there's an ABCNews Documentary on it in the YBBS Video Collection (http://www.yourbbsucks.com/forum/videos1.htm). Normally, I would scoff at the idea of "Mind Control", but when you see what it is they were trying to do, it's no longer laughable. Also, what you said.

Nope. I see they're an agricultural entity.

"Human rights observers say the drug warriors' use of Monsanto's fumigant herbicide "Roundup Ultra" has caused birth defects, blindness, respiratory problems and gastrointestinal illnesses."

As soon as I saw that Clarence Thomas was once Monsanto's lawyer, I knew it would be bad.

They're bullies; they destroy small farmers, organic farmers, and the environment. They epitomize George W. Bush's dreams of power for the few.

Yup. They're a monster.
