I just noticed that my site has gone down, and unfortunately it is out of my control.

Today 26GB worth of downloads happened on the 13mb 9/11 eyewitness clip i posted.. i noticed it was posted on letsroll911.org, and i am guessing that is where the downloads came from right now.. unfortunately i can't track referrals to wmv downloads, only html page loads..

i am thinking it may be time to switch to another host.. i can understand their need to shut down the download, but i wasnt notified, they took down the whole site, and now i have to wait on them..

can anyone suggest a new host which could allow larger bandwidths upwards of 100GB a month for a reasonable price?

in any event, i am hoping it will be back up soon, but until then im upset :(

wow.. ive just come across:

http://www.globat.com/
10GB storage
300GB/mo bandwidth
$6.95/mo

http://www.bluehost.com/
10GB storage
250GB/mo bandwidth
$6.95/mo

here is my current host:
750MB storage
20GB/mo bandwidth
$99/yr

it is definately time for me to switch.. i had used my current provider because they support ASP.NET, but 911blogger doesn't make use of it except through it's quote panel..

my site may be going through some transistions soon, but after the transition the storage and bandwidth will be massive enough for us to host anything we want..

That sucks dude. I can't believe how cheap bandwidth is, 6.95/month for 300GB???? Thats a ton for 7 bucks.
