Something that just occurred to me.....

It hit me when they showed a picture of the White House while the President et. al. were scheming ways to cover their tracks after Katrina. The flag was waving proudly in the breeze..... AT FULL MAST!

Let's see.... News24.com has the death toll at 372 as of September 10th. When the waters finally subside, as many as 10,000 bodies may be found. After 9/11/01, how many days was the flag at half-mast to mourn those who lost their lives?

Interesting how the flag continues to be the overpowering symbol. Flags shown at half-mast everywhere after the Evil Muslims stole our freedom (We must make them pay!).... No flags shown when poor black American citizens suffer greatly and starve/drown to death.....

Just scouring the internet now, Flags were lowered last Monday though..... in rememberance of Justice William Rehnquist. Bush added in one of his impromptu bunglings that the flag was also for Katrina victims too. Conveniently after Rehnquist's death.

No, it's been flown at half-mast on every 9/11 since the attacks.
