This is going to be a thread that I will hopefully maintain recapping the events of the day... for those who don't feel like reading. You lazy bastards. :)

August 7th, 2005

1. Osama Bin Laden was allowed to escape Tora Bora by the Bush Administration.
2. Patrick Fitzgerald's boss was replaced by a former Bush classmate, and fellow Bonesman, Robert McCallum.
3. We learned that George W. Bush had fired a "Veteran Prosecutor" by the name of Frederick A. Black in the Jack Abramoff investigation.
4. We learned that Drug researchers leak information to Wall Street for the right amount of money.
5. Jessica Lynch says that the U.S. 'used' her.
6. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez accused the DEA of espionage, and states he will no longer deal with them.
7. Netanyahu quit as in protest of the Gaza Pullout.
8. Dan Marino was inducted into the NFL Hall Of Fame, and can still throw a spiral.
9. The Bush Administration blocked the investigation into the "Dancing Israelis" in regards to 9/11.
10. We learned they can now read your thoughts through a brain scan.

2. The Pentagon is planning on sending more troops to Iraq.
3. The FCC hired an ultra right Christian indecency critic.
4. Iran has resumed Uranium enrichment.
5. War plans have been drafted in the event of another terrorist attack within the United States.
6. Foreign Intelligence Chief August Hanning from Germany says that "terrorism" is spreading outward from Iraq.

i actually heard a few of these things today... i had forgotten about peter jennings and the lung cancer though. is the governement going to leave the place of the war plans blank? don't you have to have the plans fit the place?

im sure 90% is bullshit anyway, just want to confirm for myself on the off chance you get something right.
