Not sure if this is the right forum for this, so move it if it needs to be. I looked for some type of political forum. Thought sticky budz might be a good place since most of congress appears to be stoned.

This was written by a friend of mine on another forum. He has been studying this for sometime.

The Root

Thoreau--"For every thousand hacking at the branches...there is one striking at the root." The one giving directions to the "high road".

There now appears to be a large group of individuals on planet earth that have come to realize something is not right with the way human societies interact. They have realized that human interaction regularly results in abuse and destruction of people and all that surrounds them. The list of examples is endless; just read the headings of any news media and you get an inkling of the breadth and scope of the problem. The list of groups trying to resolve these problems is almost as long as the list of problems itself. Although large numbers of people are actively trying to resolve individual problems they never seem to get anywhere. New problems keep surfacing faster than old problems are resolved.

Why do things continue to go downhill with so many trying to set things right?

Describing the human condition as a root lends some insight. In plants growth occurs from root stocks, if you desire to destroy a plant you will not accomplish this by just destroying the foliage or fruit, if you leave the root behind very soon you have a new replacement plant. You can prune a plant forever and it will continue to grow larger and healthier from your attention as long as the root is undisturbed. The same phenomena explains why no amount of activism is putting a dint in humanity’s ever growing survival crisis. Almost all activists are hacking at the branches and not digging up the root.

To attack “the root” of human suffering one must first find the root.

What is the root that allows all the horrendous abuses to occur that are detailed at the following sample news sites? http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/ http://www.cnn.com/ http://rense.com/ http://news.bbc.co.uk/ http://informationclearinghouse.info/ http://www.indymedia.org/ It doesn’t matter which news stories you choose to believe because they all result from a common root. What is it?

In stories related to human endeavors or problems you will find one common denominator, “power”. Every single story about human suffering originates in abuse of power. Whether it is the USA forcing it’s will on the Iraqi people, or an automobile manufacturer supplying unsafe vehicles for economic reasons or governments ignoring the environmental concerns of common people, or someone raping or mugging someone else or inside investors making a killing or pedophile priests abusing their position, ALL these stories originate in someone abusing a position of power to damage someone else.

So? Is power the root?

I think “power” gives the root a bit of definition but it is not the root itself, we have to dig a little further yet to find the root.

What is the way most of humanity is taught to achieve power? Can we equate wealth with power? I cannot think of a single instance where someone without wealth or the backing of wealth has power in the world of human affairs. Personal power is something completely different and is irrelevant to this discussion.

So? Is wealth the root?

I think “wealth” gives the root a bit more definition but it is not the root itself, we have to dig a little further yet to find the root.

What is needed to accumulate wealth? Money allows you to buy almost anything you desire, can money be equated to wealth and power? Do you know of anyone that has wealth and power that doesn’t utilize money to achieve or maintain wealth and power?

So? Is money the root?

I think “money” gives the root still more definition but it is not the root itself, we have to dig a little further yet to find the root.

What is money? Today it is mostly paper or electrons without anything of physical value linked to it. It is simply an Iou with no assets attached.

Where does money come from? Central Banks create money out of nothing for the cost of printing the paper or recording the electrons and charge humanity for using the money they create. Central Banks do NOT need security or collateral to secure the value of the money they print, it is created out of thin air and is nothing but an Iou. Consider… if you could legally print all the money or Ious you wanted for yourself what would it give you?

So? Are Central Banks the root?

I think “Central Banks” give the root still more definition but they are not the root itself, we have to dig a little further yet to find the root.

“The Federal Reserve” is the Central Bank of the USA, who controls it? Is it the American government (people)? No… The Federal Reserve is owned and controlled without audit by a group of private International Bankers. Most if not all Central Banks in the world follow this model, the banks are not owned or controlled by the countries who’s currencies they create and regulate. Central Banks go to great lengths to hide this fact.

So? Are International Bankers the root?

Yes, I think we have finally arrived at the root.

The International Bankers are the only humans who do not need to earn money with goods and/or services, they can simply print up as much money as they need. History has shown over and over that even Kings and Queens must bow at the feet of bankers because unlimited money has the power to destroy them. This is the power (root) that the plant of human misery flourishes from.

You can easily see how abuse occurs at all levels of the human plant but all power originates from and is controlled by the place of maximum power (the root).

Lord Acton, "power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely"

Follow the money.

I posed the following question on a forum in which I participate. Do you think there are enough people aware of and concerned about the human condition to bring about change IF they all worked together to destroy the root instead of most of them hacking away at the branches? What do you think?

This goes right along with the above.

In their exclusive clubs, central bankers and their CIA-CFR minions are toasting the gullibility of the American public and having a good laugh. While portraying Watergate as a victory for press freedom and democracy, again they made a mockery out of both. Last week, they rolled out a senile man of 91, former FBI Deputy Director Mark Felt, and announced that he was the infamous "Deep Throat." Ex-Washington Post reporters Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein admitted Felt provided clues that led to the 1974 impeachment of Richard Nixon for the Watergate burglary and obstruction of justice. http://www.rense.com/general65/Felt.jpgWatergate was a coup d'etat. Felt's true role is to deflect attention from the CIA. The family of central banker Eugene Meyer owns The Washington Post, which has long established ties to the CIA. Nixon's Watergate missteps were an excuse to remove a popular President who had just won a landslide victory and had become a threat to central banker hegemony. According to Seymour Hersh, in an article entitled "The Pardon," (Atlantic Monthly, Aug. 1983, p.69) a member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff recalled that on Dec. 22, 1973, Nixon tried to get military support to resist the "eastern elite." "He kept on referring to the fact that he may be the last hope, [that] the eastern elite was out to get him. He kept saying, "This is our last and best hope. The last chance to resist the fascists [of the Left]." (William T. Still, New World Order, Ancient Plan of Secret Societies, p. 12) According to Webster Tarpley and Anton Chaitkin (The Unauthorized Biography of George Bush): "The reason the Watergate scandal escalated into the overthrow of Nixon has to do with the international monetary crisis of those years, and with Nixon's inability to manage the collapse of the Bretton Woods system and the US dollar in a way satisfactory to the Anglo-American financial elite... "Broadly speaking, Watergate was a coup d'etat which was instrumental in laying the basis for the specific new type of authoritarian-totalitarian regime which now rules the United States. The purpose of the coup was to rearrange the dominant institutions of the US government so as to enhance their ability to carry out policies agreeable to the increasingly urgent dictates of the British [re. Rothschild] -dominated Morgan- Rockefeller-Mellon-Harriman financier faction." href="http://www.tarpley.net/bush12.htm A LITTLE HISTORY As I have said, sham democracy is the bankers' preferred method of social control. They groom the candidates, own the media and pay the talking heads. If an elected official gets silly notions about defending the national interest, they arrange a plane cash or an impeachment. Until 1972, Richard Nixon had been a compliant pawn of the Rothschild-Rockefeller cabal. In 1947, he answered an ad placed by some powerful businessmen looking for someone to run for Congress. The advertiser was none other than Prescott Bush, grandfather of Dubya, and a partner in Rothschild banking asset Brown Brothers Harriman. After his humiliating defeat to California Governor Pat Brown in 1962, Nixon worked for John Mitchell, Nelson Rockefeller's personal attorney and lived rent-free in a posh apartment owned by Nelson Rockefeller. His job was to become President in 1968 when, to the consternation of his conservative supporters, he pursued Rockefeller's "internationalist" polices. The bankers pulled the plug on Nixon because he was becoming unmanageable. Already before 1972, Nixon is heard on tape agreeing with Billy Graham that something had to be done about the "Jewish stranglehold" on the mass media or the "country will go down the drain." He also referred to elite-party-place Bohemian Grove as "the most faggy goddamn thing I've ever seen". JIM HOUGAN WEIGHS IN Jim Hougan, co-author "Silent Coup: The Removal of a President "(1992) believes Felt was badgered into playing this role by family and friends. Felt is 91 years old, and counting. A reporter who recently interviewed him found the interview an incoherent waste of time, and killed his own story. According to Houghton, Felt wrote a book about his career in the FBI. In it, he goes out of the way to say that he met Woodward on a single occasion. This was in Felt's FBI office, and the upshot of it was that Felt told Woodward that he would not cooperate with him in his pursuit of "Watergate." Houghton says no one in or around the Nixon White House was in a position to know all of the things that Throat is alleged to have told Woodward. For example, Felt had no way of knowing about the 18-and-a-half minute gap in Rosemary Woods' tape. This strongly suggests that Throat was a composite. "What we have here, then, is the sad spectacle of an old man being manipulated," says Houghton. "The only person who meets [the Deep Throat] criterion, to my knowledge, is Robert Bennett. Now one of the most powerful men in the U.S. Senate, Bennett was President of the Robert R. Mullen Company in 1972-3. This was the CIA front for which Howard Hunt worked." Houghton obtained a memo under the Freedom of Information Act in which Bennett admits he is briefing Bob Woodward. "Woodward's gratefulness was manifest in the way he kept the CIA, in general, and the Robert R. Mullen Company, in particular, out of his stories." http://cannonfire.blogspot.com/ (scroll down) CONCLUSION If we count the Kennedy Assasination, the impeachment of Richard Nixon was the second coup d'etat by the central bankers in a dozen years. They were steps leading to their attack on the World Trade Centre and the inception of the repressive Patriot Act. Last week, the "free press" earned the title "Deep Throat" by demonstrating that, for a small price, it would swallow anything. The carefully staged event illustrates how far it has gone from being guardian of the public interest to being an instrument of mass deception and social control. In the New World Order, traitors like Bob Woodward and Mark Felt are "heroes" while our defenders like Richard Nixon are defamed. George Orwell famously said, "He who controls the past controls the future." If the best values of Western Civilization are to survive, historical truth clearly is something we must struggle to uphold.
