On August 2nd, 2006, the Washington Post (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/08/01/AR2006080101300.html) reported that "the Pentagon's initial story of how it reacted to the 2001 terrorist attacks may have been part of a deliberate effort to mislead the commission and the public" and that "the 10-member commission, in a secret meeting at the end of its tenure in summer 2004, debated referring the matter to the Justice Department for criminal investigation."

Now, whether you think it was because of confusion from "the fog of events" on that day, or whether you think it was the result of (http://www.nytimes.com/2006/08/05/washington/05norad.html?_r=1&oref=slogin) "inadequate forensic capabilities", and "poor record-keeping", or whether you think it was blatant criminality...

NO ONE HAS BEEN INVESTIGATED, OR HELD ACCOUNTABLE, AND THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE.

William P. Goehring, a spokesman for the Inspector General's office, said that "the question of whether military commanders intentionally withheld the truth from the commission would be addressed in a separate report that is still in preparation."

Where's that report? Does it exist? If so, please show it to me. Why didn't the media make a HUGE stink about the original Post story? Why didn't the media make a HUGE stink about the fact that the Inspector General's report created on "May 27, 2005" wasn't released until after the story of the Commissioner's suspicions came out?

Why aren't Americans jumping up and down, stomping their feet, and DEMANDING accountability for this, and MANY other "problems" with regard to the official account?

I posted this...

The other day one of the family members told me that at a time when their kids were traumatized, they had to go down to Washington D.C. to fight for their Government to investigate how their loved ones were murdered. It's something I've always known in the back of my mind, but to hear it from them made it "real". At a time when they needed their Government to do its' job, they didn't, and they had to fight for them to do it. On top of that, the Government actually had the audacity to fight AGAINST the families. I want to say it's infuriating, but there really isn't a word to describe how angry this makes me. All I know is that it helps to push me to do what's right.

I don't know if this was done with permission or not, but I would like to say thank you to Kyle Hence, Ray Nowosielski, Lorie Van Auken, Mindy Kleinberg, Patty Casazza, Bob McIlvaine, Sally Regenhard, and Monica Gabrielle for doing what needed to be done to make this movie, as well as 9/11: Press For Truth, available.
