An F4 Phantom pilot from the UK posted 2 interesting photos of the incomplete WTC Towers at Pilots For 9/11 Truth. This is also an interesting (if technical) discussion IMHO.

Those perimeter steel beams look awfully strong to me without the aluminum cladding...

It's an old photo taken from far away, but I see considerable steel (with surface rusting) on the 260-or-so perimeter columns. I'm still stuck on the "high-speed aluminum beer can through the iron engine block" problem though.

I'll freely admit that 2 turbofan engines doing over 450 knots should have no trouble getting inside, but where did they go? Steel and titanium generally don't burn and aren't all that compressible...

Are the laws of physics and material science back to normal yet on Manhattan Island 6 years later?
