The State of Utah pretty much "blacklisted" Stern from all the radio stations, but you could get his syndicated "E!" shows if you had cable.

I got hooked on his radio show when I moved to PHX, RIGHT before Michael Powell (Colin's FCC-director son) pulled the plug on his national show.

Don't have XM either, but I COULD actually receive that in these parts, I think...

Ahhhh, Separation of Church and State, and Freedom of Speech, and...

You could get it. You are missing nothing by not having Stern. I was a fan for years. When he went to Sirrius, I was all ready for the "revolution of radio." Within a month I was looking to get rid of my sirrius unit (which in all honesty was the size of a laptop unto itself) and got XM. We have had the debate here a few times of who is better. There is still die hard Stern fan that pops in to chide me once in a while, such as when th O&A were suspended from XM for a month in what was clearly an act of censorship. When XM did that I vowed never to give them another CENT. I now dndld the shows from utorrent and listen to them on my ipod. I feel kinda bad, as I would like to support the boys by paying. But XM advertised uncensored radio (and still does) and there is no way I am paying for that shit.
