I just purchased this today. It's very good. There was a quote in the movie that stood out to me. Maybe you can guess why.

"Vietnam was not an easily accepted war on the part of the population. It didn't have a 9/11 like we had. It didn't have a Pearl Harbor. It didn't have the motivating factors that would've encouraged a high degree of patriotism.

Mario Cuomo - Former Governor Of New York"

"From the Studio who Brought You Fahrenheit 9/11"

Let me guess, it has a strong Liberal stance...

Studio are built straight up, not leaning to the left or right...

:iamwithst

And it's the "the studio THAT brought you Fahrenheiht 9/11", not "who brought you". Studio's aren't people.

Sheessshhh....

I too now own this unbelievable documentary.

I don't know where to begin. Think I'll start with the part of the movie I actually had to stop and let sink in for a minute. When John and Yoko ran the "War Is Over" billboard campaign and were discussing it with the media. Someone asked who was footing the bill and John replied, "It's mostly coming out of our wallets, with some contributions from others. I don't know how much it's costing, but it's cheaper than someone's life." Holy shit! , and you know what? You knew that's how he honestly felt, it wasn't a rehearsed bit.

Also, when he's won his court battle against the INS, and asked if he held a grudge against Hoover, Nixon, et. al..... and Lennon says, "Not really, time wounds all heels." and he gives that smirk at the camera?!! Absolutely fucking beautiful!

I also now hope that there is eternal damnation.... and G. Gordon Liddy winds up, oh, I don't know, somewhere within the 10th concentric circle, with Judas Iscariot, John Wilkes Booth, and child-molesting priests.

This movie was awesome! The similarities between what Nixon was saying about Vietnam and what Bush says about Iraq are unbelievable. Most of the soldiers killed in Vietnam were killed after Nixon became president, even thought he promised to get the US out of Vietnam if he were elected.

It was only 22 pieces. It seemed like it was all there. Did I miss some of it?

I don't know. I supported the makers of the film by purchasing a copy as opposed to watching it for free online.

Ha ha ha!

I thought about going out and renting it when it came out, but I kind of forgot about it, but then I read this thread this morning and decided to see if I could find it on youtube, after I saw your post saying that it was available online in pieces.
