A senior U.S. State Department diplomat causes embarrassment in Washington after telling Arab satellite network Al Jazeera that there is a strong possibility history will show the United States displayed "arrogance" and "stupidity" in its handling of the Iraq war. The White House has distanced itself from the comments.

Why do people still insist that it was just their “arrogance and stupidity” that continues to fuel this never ending madness?
When will they realize that much of this has happened by design; drafted with the darkest intentions.
It is in these failures that they are given greater opportunity.
Greater opportunity to do what? - You ask.
We'll see soon enough.

I agree. These people wanted war with Afghanistan and Iraq. They got them. These people wanted warrantless wiretapping. They got it. These people wanted control of all three branches of Government. They got it.

Methinks they aren't as stupid as everyone says they are.
