The lies that got us into Afghanistan and Iraq and the lies also being told about what is and has been going on in those places. It's very well done.
 
He was questioning John Bolton and when the interview ended, John Bolton said "you must be a labor party member." Pilger said, "The labor party is conservative." Then Bolton said, "Maybe you're a communist party member."
 
I thought you might like it.

I think this is another one we would like people to see, it really shows just how our government lies. Like the warlords are running Afghanistan, and are just as bad as the Taliban. The government we put in place their is just for show, they have no real power there.
 
It's from 2003 as far as I can remember. Pilger always makes brilliant documentaries on whatever subject he turns his hand to. His books and articles are always worth reading too.

And that comment about the 'communist party' was classic. But also shocking that Bolton was unaware of who the party in the UK that was hand in glove with the US was. Bolton is now of course, US Ambassador to the UN.

Palestine Is Still The Issue (2002, 54mins) is another fine Pilger film.
