While they show West Point in red on this map, what they don't show is Stewart Air Force Base, which is a few miles up the road.
My mother lives five minutes from Stewart...
So once i went to visit her, and for a change my head wasn't buried in a book as i sipped some Jack for the ride...everybody had debarked in Spring Valley so it was just me & the driver on the bus (no, not a Red & Tan). When we got to West Point he called out to me, asking me if i wanted the grand tour, and an inner voice said why-the-fuck-not since i was still working on the book
