7/5/2006

Enron's founder Kenneth Lay suffered a massive coronary Tuesday and died, according to Dr. Steve Wende, of First Methodist Houston and died.

"He and his wife, Linda, were in Colorado for the week, and his death was totally unexpected. Apparently, his heart simply gave out.," he said in a memo to church staff.

Was he perhaps assisted in having that heart attack? :)

furthermore,

the same people who believe the supposed North Korean missile test was an act of "provocation" towards the US will probably also believe the story about Ken Lay's death.
In fact, I think they'll find the supposed death of Ken Lay to be of more interest than the North Korean missile issue.
...possibly by design...?
Be it by natural causes, self-induced, or by someone or something else assisting, the official story being plastered everywhere is not the truth.

His sentencing was about 2 months away, September 11, 2006 to be exact.

Quite possibly he has been sureptitiously sentenced to death and quietly executed.

I think the official story is the truth in this case. There doesnt seem to be a reason for Lay to be eliminated.

Could well be.

Then again, he migth know more than Bush & Co would want made public - and now that he was on his way to prison he may no longer have had too much to lose.

Yeah, I was think that too. But at the same time, he's already been senteneced and if he were to go scortched earth and take everyone down he would have done it during the trial. Disclosing govn't secrets wouldn't have helped him much, if at all, during the sentences. And correct me if I'm wrong but a lot of the 'proof' was destroyed in WTC7.

He was an old guy under a lot of stress.
