Has anyone ever heard someone say that they could have invaded Iraq without 9/11?

I remember talking to Keith Phucas about that, and he made the argument that they were bad people during the 90's, etc... and that would have been a good enough reason to invade.

However, what reasons did they use to sell the Iraq War?

Weapons of Mass Destruction.
Ties to Al-Qaeda.
Ties to 9/11.

If they had a good enough reason other than those things, than why didn't they use it? Why did they depend on fabrications and the tragedy of 9/11?

Because that's what it was designed for.

Short Answer: Yes

Long Answer: Yes, since Clinton came semi-close even though there wasn't much of a reason. If this administration wagged the dog right then they could have possibly built a bullshit case to sell.

If these guys could stage a massive attack on America and make it look like an outside entity did it, they should be able to stage a war just as easily. And I would argue that staging an attack on America is just as difficult, if not more difficult, than setting up a fake war.

They did stage their war.
